All records, whether of common or rare species, are valuable and contribute to our understanding of the Park and the way it may be changing. Significant changes are taking place; for example, heathland is under threat, birch continues to spread, nitrogen enrichment from airborne pollution is apparent, and sewage pollution incidents have affected some areas.
All records received will be shared with the relevant Biological Records Centres and recording groups, and also put on this website in due course.
